Rodolphe Alexis (né en 75, basé à Paris). Ses travaux audio portent sur la prise de son en extérieurs, la composition électroacoustique, l’écriture radiophonique et l’installation. Observateur compulsif à la campagne, opérateur son et designer sonore à la ville, il est le fondateur associé des éditions Double-Entendre – Vibrö/vibrofiles.com, et il intervient également au sein du duo OttoannA (les deux avec Valérie Vivancos). Il a mené des collaborations avec le collectif MU, les artistes Guillaume Aubry, Yoko Fukushima, Aki Onda, Elisa Fernadez Arteta, Wen Chin Fu, Matt Fraktal, Eduardo Fukushima, Franck Ancel, Frédéric Ramade, Jean Philippe Renoult, le Groupe de Recherches Musicales de l’INA GRM, le Museum National d’Histoire Naturelle… Ses récents field recordings en forêt tropicale sont édités chez Gruenrekorder : http://www.gruenrekorder.de/?page_id=7765
Rodolphe ALEXIS – Lives & works in Paris – born in 1975 . Sound recordist, sound artist and designer, his work is based on field recording and electroacoustic composition. Founding partner of Double-Entendre (publishing & audio events) and the revue Vibro / vibrofiles.com, he is also a member of the sound performance duo OttoannA (with Valérie Vivancos). He collaborated with the Groupe de Recherches Musicales INA-GRM, the collective of designers START XXI, the MU collective, artists Guillaume Aubry and Yoko FUKUSHIMA and has taken part in numerous events (CitySonics, ESD, SoundLab, Silence Radio, ArteRadio, Popsonics Radio).
