**Wetland Project** est une immersion sonore et artistique au cœur de la biodiversité du marais de ṮEḴTEḴSEN, sur l’île Saturna en territoire W̱SÁNEĆ (Colombie-Britannique). Ce projet pluridisciplinaire, mené par les artistes Brady Marks et Mark Timmings, explore depuis dix ans les paysages sonores d’une zone humide, où cohabitent oiseaux, grenouilles et insectes, révélant la richesse acoustique d’un écosystème menacé.

À travers des enregistrements, installations multimédias et une partition musicale, le **Wetland Project** invite à une expérience radiophonique mêlant art et écologie et diffusée dans plus de 50 pays depuis son démarrage.
**Websynradio**, basée à Nîmes à proximité immédiate de la Camargue, s’associe à cette aventure pour la diffusion mondiale du 22 avril prochain, en résonance avec les enjeux de préservation des zones humides et la valorisation des paysages sonores naturels.

Since its inauguration on Vancouver Co-op Radio in 2017, listening to the 24-hour soundscape from the ṮEḴTEḴSEN marsh in W̱SÁNEĆ territory (Saturna Island, British Columbia, Canada) has grown into an Earth Day tradition heard on 57 radio stations and via the web in over 50 countries.
Fill the airwaves with the sounds of birds, frogs, insects and airplanes. The broadcast, created by artists Brady Marks and Mark Timmings, engages its audience in real time, promoting a powerful re-engagement with the living environment. As the world spins through such turbulent times, “slow radio” offers a life-affirming respite to reflect upon a more lucid and caring future.
