Julia Drouhin :: Magnetic Playlist

(((MAGNETIC PLAYLIST))) > webSYNradio

The (((MAGNETIC PLAYLIST))) is an homage to the magnetic waves which magnetised, intensified and stimulated my listening since the publication of my first collage compiled from tapes while travelling on the label Vibrö in 2004, until my current project Disco Ghost  printing sound memory on chocolate records. Magnetic fields have attracted artists who have inspired me, such as Pierre Schaeffer, Anne Laplantine, Lionel Marchetti,Jérôme Noetinger, Joachim Montessuis, Henri Pousseur, Felix Kubin, John Oswald, Karlheinz Stockhausen, DinahBird, Leon Theremin … The (((MAGNETIC PLAYLIST))) convenes many ways of using the radiophonic, analogue and nostalgic sound of this disappearing medium.
