La Cosa Preziosa (Susanna Caprara) is a soundscape artist originally from the south of Italy and based in Ireland. Her work focuses on the creation of short-form audio works composed exclusively out of original field recordings, captured in different locations around the world. Recent projects include Onironautica (RTÉ Lyric FM commission, shortlisted for the EBU Ars Acustica Prix Palma) and composing a soundscape for a Lucien Clergue photograph as part of Landscape/ Soundscape at Penn State University (USA). La Cosa Preziosa (Susanna Caprara) est une artiste sonore originaire du sud de l’Italie et basée en Irlande. Son travail se concentre sur la création d’œuvres audio de courte durée composées exclusivement de field recordings originaux, captés dans différents endroits du monde. Les projets récents incluent Onironautica (RTÉ Lyric FM commission, présélectionné pour l’UER Ars Acustica Prix Palma) et la composition d’un paysage sonore pour une photographie de Lucien Clergue dans le cadre de Landscape / Soundscape à Penn State University (USA).
